Hi everyone,

probably some of you noticed that I've updated some of my works, especially the digital ones: I've realized that I had my screen setting all wronged. Indeed when I tried to print some of them they result too dark and lost all the details I've put on the picture. Initially I've thought about bad quality printing, but this kind of mistakes kept. Talking with some of my friends, they told me they see my artworks as on printed examples, and not as they should be for real! So I've realized that the problem was mine: in fact I had all my color/light/contrast screen settings totally wronged and I've never noticed it before! Luckily now I've modified this situation, so I've decided to re-post all my digital piece, I hope this time you can see the difference and appreciate more all the colors and details. The traditional pieces indeed seem don't have this problem, or better not so evident on the contrary some pieces benefit of this (don't ask me why!)...well, probably because the scans are naturally lighter than the original piece, even when you modify and correct all colors setting on Photoshop. By the way, from today I know it and probably you will see better pictures and you can buy better quality prints!

Ciao a tutti,

probabilmente alcuni di voi avranno notato degli update su alcune mie illustrazioni, specialmente quelle digitali: Mi sono resa conto di avere il monitor settato in maniera assurda.Infatti quando provavo a stampare uno di questi pezzi risultavano veramente troppo scuri rispetto a quello che io vedevo sullo schermo. Inizialmente ho pensato ad una stampa di qualità bassa, ma questo difetto perseverava nel tempo. Così parlando con alcuni amici mi sono resa conto che loro vedevano le immagini a schermo esattamente come nelle stampe! Ho capito che il problema era mio: infatti il settaggio color/light/contrast del mio monitor era completamente sbagliato e non me ne ero mai resa conto! Ora dovrebbe essere tutto rientrato nella norma, ho ri-postato le immagini digitali sperando che ora ne potrete apprezzare meglio i dettagli e i colori. I pezzi tradizionali invece sembrano non avere questo problema anzi alcuni ci guadagnano anche (non chiedetemi perché!)...oh bhè, suppongo perché le scansioni sono sempre molto più chiare rispetto all'originale e mantengono questo status anche se poi si modificano i colori e le variazioni di gamma con Photoshop. Comunque, è una fortuna che me ne sia accorta, spero che da oggi godrete di immagini più belle e potrete acquistare stampe di maggior qualità!
